France - Canal du Midi to Hauteford

Bram is a pretty village built on a circular plan with the 13th century church in the centre. It was once a very important staging point on the road from Toulouse to Carcassonne and subsequently on the Canal du Midi. The chapels are ornately decorated in the gothic style of that time.
